The Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University, ranked 9th for online graduate engineering programs, is the largest and most comprehensive engineering program in the United States. With more than 22,400 students, Ira A. Fulton students represent 135 countries, all 50 states, Washington, D.C., Guam, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering offers 25 undergraduate programs and 44 graduate programs in its six schools, including the School of Computing, Informatics, and Decision Systems Engineering (CIDSE). Completing each MasterTrack course with an 80% or higher passing grade provides you three credits on an ASU transcript. To receive the university-issued certificate from Arizona State University, you must complete all three courses with a cumulative GPA of 3.0. Successfully completing your entire MasterTrack Program with a 3.0 GPA on the first attempt is a pathway to the Master of Computer Science (MCS), where only an additional 21 credits will be needed to receive your degree. You must have earned a bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution in the U.S. or the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree from an international institution that is officially recognized by that country in order to be eligible for the MCS.‎

To submit an application, follow these steps:

• After signing up to enroll, click the Enroll button. A checklist will appear
• Click the Submit a Non-Degree Application link to start your ASU application
• Create an account using the specified email address or sign in if you’ve already created an account using the specified email address
• Non-Degree will be pre-populated, Click the Start New Application button
• If you created a new account, enter your Personal Information and proceed to the Institution Information section
• Under the Institution Information select your desired MasterTrack under the specialization field
• If you signed in to an existing account, you will proceed directly to the Institution Information section
• After completing the Institution Information section, you will proceed to the Residency section
• After completing the Residency section, you can review and submit your application to ASU
• Please note: if you do not enroll in the semester in which you are admitted, you must submit a new application and pay the application fee‎

No. The MasterTrack® Certificate courses are ASU credit bearing courses and require payment for access.‎

You will have 5-6 days after the start of the first course session to refund your payment. You can view the refund deadline for each session here. ‎

Financial assistance is not available at this time for MasterTrack Certificates.‎

You will get 9 credits on an ASU transcript, along with a certificate from the Fulton School of Engineering.‎

The degree will say Master of Computer Science. The degree certificate does not denote the modality in which the degree was received.‎

No, but there will be at least one course available each session so you can complete three in sequence and earn your certificate in 6-9 months. ‎

There’s a one hour live session held weekly via Zoom. It’s recorded and uploaded to each course for those to watch who cannot attend live.‎
